I used to organize my closet by hangar color (i.e. all the T's on white, the dresses on pink, the button-downs on blue, all the pants and skirts on silver clips, etc.). I still organize it by style now, (i.e. all the baby T's together, all the tanks and cami's together, all the cap sleeves together, all the dressier tops together, by color, etc.) though I don't have enough of the same color hangar to get picky!
